1. You should spy on him to be sure. Setup a fake girl (or a friend) to approach him or send him a message online and find out if he says he's single.
2. Trust is important. If he will lie to you about something small like what grade he is in, there's not much you can build on for a future relationship. I recommend that you don't worry about dating until you are at least 16 and don't worry about having a boyfriend until you are at a place in your life where you are ready to get married.
3. You need to tell him how you feel...honesty is always the best way...if he loves you then he wont lie to you...just remember that you are the most important and how you feel is the thing that you should be concerned with...dont let someone walk all over you...life is too short and if he cant realize how great you are...then you dont need him...there are other guys out there who will treat you nice and not lie to you...Good luck...
