I hear that the divorce rate is over 50%. Of the under 50% that are married many are unhappy and stuck.

1. I know a lot of married couples who have been through divorce.
Currently, most of my friends are married and a few are in the process of divorcing. Also, most of the couples I have known over the years, ended up in Divorce.
As of right now:
45.8% of all new marriages in the US will end up in divorce.
India has the lowest - 1.1%
Sweden has the highest - 54.9%
2. I know more divorced people who are happily married again.
3. My parents have been happily married for 26yrs. they are always themselves, having a good time and are affectionate and extremley happy. they never fight or have screaming matches or anything childish like that. of course they can frustrate eachother but they never let it get between them or yell about it. there is hope!
4. I know more married people, than I do divorced people. I only know 2 people that are divorced. And only about 2% of the married people that I know, are unhappy. The couples in the unhappy marriage have nothing in common. The people in the unhappy marriages are always arguing and putting one another down. Whereas the happy couples tend to like the same things. For example, with the unhappy couple, the wife enjoys musicals and ballet, and the husband likes football and hanging with the guys. And with the happy couples, both people have similar interests. For instance they both like the same type of music, they both enjoy a good comedy. And they communicate with one anther (unlike the unhappy couples).
